Fish poo is 90% water, good luck making mountains out of it.
Salmon poo is simply not on your beaches, never will be, nor is there metre high piles of poo under the water. Like any farming operation, if the conditions were polluted then the fish would not thrive.
Current flow, water movement and wave energy are essential for healthy fish. The Government planning process has a baseline assessment model that we are required to maintain.
We adhere to the strict environmental regulations that are in place in, under and around every salmon pen. If there were mountains of poo under the nets then we wouldn’t be farming.
